The special police posts mounted in streets and avenues of Baku City in connection with the special quarantine regime applied in our country except for entries into and exits from the city will be abolished from July 2. The purpose of this measure is to ensure intensity of automobile transport traffic in the intra-city roads, and to involve even more officers in the control over the toughened special quarantine regime, the Press Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) told APA.

From now on, the control will be further strengthened over compliance without fail of our citizens with the requirements arising from the quarantine regime and related to all enclosed spaces in the city, and especially use of medical mask and observance of social distancing.

The number of the pedestrian patrol squads in streets and avenues, as well as in the intra-city quarters will be increased, while the presence or absence pf relevant permission for movement of transport facilities will be determined by means of video-surveillance cameras.

All the implemented measures serve for ensuring of the security of the population and protection of their health. Therefore, our citizens are demanded to comply without fail with the requirements arising from the special quarantine regime.
