Number of COVID-19 infections surpasses 18 mln worldwide

The pandemic numbers spiked by one million in less than four days, according to Johns Hopkins University. While the US remains the most affected country with over 4.6. million infected, Brazil is second with 2.7 million cases, and India is third with around 1.75 million, APA reports quoting Sputnik.

The coronavirus is on the rise across the world, with India showing the highest number of new COVID-19 cases. At the same time, tens of thousands have been diagnosed with the coronavirus in Latin America, including Brazil, Peru, Mexico, Colombia, and Argentina.
