Mufti of Georgian Muslims Office Haji Yasin Aliyev has resigned, APA's Georgian bureau reports.

He has written on his Facebook in this regard.

According to him, reason of his resignation is health problems.

Haji Yasin Aliyev noted that Supreme Religious Council will gather and determine new mufti through an election. Until then, his duties will be executed by his Advisor Eyvaz Mardanov.
