State Migration Service addresses to foreigners and stateless persons whose staying period in Azerbaijan expires on June 01-15

The State Migration Service has addressed to foreigners and stateless persons whose staying period in the Republic of Azerbaijan expires on June 01-15, SMS told APA.

The State Migration Service regularly analyses the applications of foreigners and stateless persons and take urgent measures taking into account the extension of the restriction on entry and exit at the state border until June 15, 2020

Foreigners and stateless persons are kindly informed that the applications of foreigners, who have been registered upon place of stay within the country and whose staying period expired (and will expire) between June 01-15, and cannot leave the country due to the obvious reasons, have been considered accepted by the State Migration Service and their staying period in the Republic of Azerbaijan will be extended up to 30-60 days (depending on the amount of the state fee paid).

As well as, staying period of foreigners in the country has been extended step by step during the quarantine period.

We reiterate that these persons can stay in the country legally by paying the state fee (corresponding to the extended period) electronically (via the Government Payment Portal, "ASAN payment" system or Expresspay terminals) after obtaining a payment number through the website of the Service (https://eservice.migration.gov.az/public/payments-search?lang=az).  

Decisions on extension of temporary staying period are not required to be collected in person. If necessary, these persons can obtain decisions through the website of the Service (https://eservice.migration.gov.az/public/application-track).
